Description

Circa 1854. Embrace the warmth of this wonderful bed & breakfast built in 1790 with post and beam construction, wood ceilings and a 12-foot stone fireplace. Mingle in one of a variety of common rooms or bask in privacy. Sip a glass of sherry in the keeping room, watch a movie, grab a book from the library, or play a game in one of the upstairs sitting rooms. Air-conditioned guest bedrooms boast a delightful décor accented by stenciling and tasteful furnishings. The Moonlit Suite on the third floor is very popular and offers total privacy. A sitting room with fireplace and a two-person Jacuzzi enhances its romantic ambiance. Sit outside on an Adirondack chair or relax in a rocker on the wraparound porch.

Wonderful Stay

We want to thank you for a wonderful stay. The room was very comfortable and we had everything we needed to make it feel like home! We loved all the wonderful food and so enjoyed visiting with you. You both could not have made our 1st stay in a B&B any better. Thanks for taking such good care of us, making us feel so welcome. We hope to see you again!

Warm, hospitality, a quiet homey atmosphere, comfortable bed, well thought-out and delightful appointments, delicious light hot biscuits -- a great find!

Beauty, Comfort & Hospitality

Just a wonderful retreat. This was my second time and I'll be returning at least once a year. Although I would love spending days enjoying the hospitality of the owners, the amazing fireplace and beautiful romantic rooms, there's so much to do and see that I'll just have to allow more time in the future. Wonderful breakfasts too!
