Jenny\'s Gingersnaps

This is one of the most popular cookies on our afternoon cookie plate! It\'s a real surprise to those who have only eaten dry, hard commercial gingersnaps. These are crispy on the outside and soft and spicy within. Simply outstanding!

First time

We stayed at the Red Rocker Inn in early October and it was a fabulous first time experience at a bed and breakfast and we will certainly be back. I didn't realize you could feel right at home while staying somewhere away from home. The service, food, and people were excellent and we will most certainly be back. Make sure to stay for dinner!

Red Rocker Inn Rocks

This was our first visit to a bed and breakfast. We were very impressed with the accommodations as well as the staff. The inn were very impressive--clean, well decorated and well stocked with everything that we needed. The breakfasts were delicious. We also ate dinner there, and the food was some of the best. Jenny and Doug were very personable and made us feel so welcome. The staff did the same. We will definitely be visiting this bed and breakfast again.

Everything is A+++

Doug and Melissa, the Innkeepers, are so personable and really do everything to make your stay memorable. Breakfast is terrific! Unique dishes you will not find elsewhere. Intimate, delicious dinners with friendly, efficient servers. Complimentary soft drinks available any time of the day. Cozy and romantic atmosphere. Quiet, comfortable rooms. And lastly, a staff that is committed to excellence and cleanliness. We observed the length of time one worker spent cleaning just one room to ensure it was immaculate in all respects. Highly recommended. We plan to go back again very shortly. Fred & Gwen

Loved our stay at the Red Rocker

We loved our stay at the Red Rocker Inn. My sister and her husband and my mom joined us. My 91 year old mother loved her "music" room with the lower bed and walk in shower. Everything was immaculate and very cozy.The food was great, had dinner the first night and breakfast in the morning, both excellent! Great service and staff and hosts. We will be back. July, 2013.

So Nice!!!

We visited Red Rocker Inn to spend the night on Sept 3, 2012, just as all the Labor Day guests were leaving. The weather had turned rainy on our vacation and we were dodging the rain from place to place we'd planned to visit in NC. The owners were so gracious and kind! They gave us a great rate on our rooms - which were very pretty and very clean - and served a wonderful homemade, Southern style breakfast the next morning. I would recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

Lovely Inn

My husband and I went to the Red Rocker Inn twice, once for dinner and once for Sunday Brunch. We did not stay there but really enjoyed meeting the owners and loved the food. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. I would certainly stay at this very historic & beautiful Inn.

A Beautiful Place...

Nestled in the Black Mountain region is this Beautiful Inn with the nicest folks that own and manage it. The rooms are tastefully done and the restaurant is Five Star! From breakfast to dinner, the food was nothing but delicious!! The wait staff was very knowledgeable of the food prepared and with help in getting around the area. A visit to a nearby lake within walking distance saw the "Evening Primrose" flowers blooming at dusk. Truly Beautiful. By and far, our Best experience! June and Hank

Home Away from Home

My husband and I "ran away" for an over-night. We are SO glad we found Red Rocker Inn. It was romantic, charming; our hosts were warm and accommodating. The Wow Factor was an excellent dinner right on premises. We will definitely return!
