The 'morocco-tini

The 'morocco-tini

Filed under: Beverages, Beverages - Cold.

Description:
Served to our guests, this is a sugar-rimmed sake-based Martini! No worries about breakage here, drinks are in acrylic Martini glasses & served in the warm mineral swimming pool and indoor/outdoor hot Jacuzzi spa and at the poolside bar!

Ingredients:
Sake, Cranberry Juice, Orange Juice, Sweet Vermouth, Lemon Seltzer, a slice of orange and sugar (put this on a plate to sugar the rim of the glass!)

Directions:
In a Martini shaker, add equal parts of Sake, Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, and Lemon Seltzer (a little secret here, you can use a can of Squirt for the sizzle and lemon flavor) a dash of Sweet Vermouth, 2-3 ice cubes and shake. Careful- the top might blow off if you shake too vigorously!
Now, take your orange and cut in half, making slices to hang from each glass. Use the other part of the orange to coat the rim of the Martini glasses and dip the glasses onto the saucer of sugar for a beautiful, refreshing drink presentation. It's an easy drink to make and looks great at parties. Several of our guests have called from their own homes during their parties to ask how we make this drink. You can change the Cranberry juice out with other seasonal juices for holiday gatherings too. Get creative-add a little holiday wreath or sprig of mint for spring parties.
