Marinated Shiitake Mushrooms



Description:
This recipe is simple and easy to make. These mushrooms can be applied to any number of dishes, but also make a great snack on their own. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 Qt Shiitake Mushrooms, Thinly Sliced

1 Cup of Rice Wine Vinegar

1/2 Cup of Soy Sauce

1/4 Cup of Honey

1 tsp of Garlic, Minced

1 tsp of Shallots, Minced

1/4 tsp Sesame Oil

Directions:
Place the sliced mushrooms in a container.

Combine the remaining ingredients in a sauce pot and bring to a boil over high heat.

Pour the liquid over the mushrooms and cover with plastic wrap. Make sure the mushrooms are fully submerged and put a weight on top if necessary. Seal the container and store in the refrigerator.
