Gluten Free Chocolate Cherry Cake
Chocolate Cherry Cake ~ MOIST and DELICIOUS !
This cake can also be made with regular flour but our guests can't even tell the difference with the gluten free mix. Works at 7,200 elevation too !
3/4 C Gluten free flour (Pamelas is the one I use)
1 C Sugar
3/4 C Cocoa
1 1/2 teasp baking soda
1 1/2 teasp baking powder
1 teasp salt
21 oz.can cherry pie filling
1 teasp vanilla extract
1 teasp almond extract
1 C boiling water
preheat to 350( or 375 at high altitude)
mix dry ingredients
mix into this the beaten eggs and pie filling
Mix boiling water and extracts in as last step
pour into a greased 9x13 or two 9" rounds
Bake 30 minutes
I use a half bag of chocolate chips as a topping and put back in oven to melt and then spread.
SUPER EASY ! and SUPER DELICIOUS !
