Description:
This is my grandmother's recipe and a huge hit with our guests. It's very easy, and a good way to use up leftover bananas from breakfast, too!

Ingredients:
1 cup mashed bananas
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour mixed with 1 teaspoon of baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon of almond extract (substitute an extra 1/2 t. of vanilla if you want to avoid nuts)
1/2 cup choc chips, semisweet or bittersweet

Directions:
Cream butter/margarine and sugar, add eggs, bananas, and extracts, and mix in dry ingredients. Add chocolate chips last. Bake in a well-greased loaf pan at 325 degrees for 60-70 minutes. Adding an extra banana makes for a moist, flavorful loaf, but add 10 minutes to baking time if you do this.

Test the center with a toothpick after baking; crumbs should stick to the toothpick when done. Easy and delicious!
