Circa 1891. Walk to downtown Galena, Illinois from this award-winning inn that graces an historic neighborhood. Warm hospitality and Victorian charm blend well with the casually elegant modern comfort. Relax on one of the porches or gather in one of the two parlors, the library or the garden. Gather at 5PM for a parlor party with beverages and treats. Early-morning coffee and tea are available and late-evening drinks are a nice way to close up the day. Retire to a guest room with period antiques, DVD and CD library, clawfoot or two-person Jacuzzi tub and a fireplace. Proclaimed to have the best breakfast in the Midwest, this prestigious inn aims to please. An assortment of specials and packages are also available.

My husband and I stayed at this Inn for our 10th anniversary and it was a real treat. We enjoyed the dessert and wine on the patio when we first arrived, then we were able to walk to dinner in downtown Galena. The room was very nice. We absolutely loved the innkeepers Mike & Anita! They were a real treat and their breakfast was something to write home about! Wonderful, wonderful visit! Thanks!
