Primrose Inn-Historic Bar Harbor Bed and Breakfast
Map
Location: Waterfront, Mountains, Ocean Community and Island.
Historic Interest
Built in 1878 by Col. William F. Holland, a banker from Savannah, Georgia. The design is what is commonly known as Stick Style Victorian. Having survived the Great Fire of 1947 thanks to a fortuitous change in the winds, the Primrose Inn remains one of the last grand residences of the 19th Century in Bar Harbor.

“Great and welcoming. .”
LynWe stayed in their condo for a week. There was lots of room and it was fully stocked with dishes and appliances. Close enough to downtown to walk. Off street parking. Only negative is the seating outside on the porch is for the private rooms.
