Romantic Interest

The romance of the Port Washington Inn is captured in the serenity, comfort & elegance it provides guests. Peaceful privacy and thoughtful extras allow guests to relax and enjoy their time away together.

Historic Interest

In 2003 the Port Washington Inn celebrated 100 years, originally as a home and since 1991 as a bed and breakfast inn. Original wood floors were refinished and became the "frosting on the cake" in returning the inn to the warmth it offered its new occupants 100 years ago. Expansive windows bring in the light and the views. Quarter sawn oak woodwork has developed a rich patina over time. Pocket doors, picture rails, built in hutch and plate rails, original gas/electric chandeliers, original anaglypta and lincrusta wallcovering, a grand front staircase and generous back stairway speak of a home well designed for George & Eva Blessing who owned the Port Brewing Company on the lakefront of Port Washington.
