Historic Interest
Originally homesteaded by A.J. Swanson in the early 1900s, this land was purchased by the Federal Government to be included in Roosevelt's New Deal Colony Settlement. In the 1960s our bed and breakfast was operated as Fairview Dairy. One of the Matanuska's premeir dairy farms. In 1986 the dairy farm and barn was transformed into our spacious B&B Inn.

“Beautiful and Original”
Kim ROvid, MI
8/3/2010
We've stayed in several B and B's in Alaska and this was by far in the top three! It is beautifully appointed, each room original. We stayed in the suite - fabulous! The common rooms are clean, comfortable and the views are terrific. Not enough good things to say.

“Alaska Themed B & B”
j d7/28/2010
My husband walked into the B & B after a week in Alaska ans asked if we could stay here the rest of our trip. Imaculate, bright, wonderful sense of Alaska, amazing. It was so nice to treat ourselves to a little luxury on our trip. I love the wonderful coffee bar and comfy lounge area. Stayed in the suite- worth the extra $10.00
