Circa 1790. The pineapple always has been a sign of friendship and hospitality, and guests at Pineapple Hill are sure to experience both. The inn is secluded on six private acres, yet it's just four miles from town. Antique shops, flea markets, auctions and plenty of outdoor activities are all close by. All rooms and suites include a fireplace, cable TV, phone and private bath. A full breakfast is served at individual tables, afternoon refreshments and evening sherry are also offered. Inside the walls of a stone barn is a tiled swimming pool.

The color is a light mocha cream, and the queen bed has a beautiful cream iron frame. The bedroom has a fireplace and the pretty little sitting room has cable TV.

Knowles Suite

Knowles SuiteThe Knowles was once the entire second floor of the house. The bedroom has a King bed with a romantic hoop canopy, cable TV and gas fireplace. Eighteen-inch walls make the room especially quiet, and white rose garland surrounding the inset windows make it especially pretty. The bath is newly renovated with granite floors and a tub and shower, and the extra room has a lovely sitting area as well as a beautiful single sleigh bed.

Magnolia Apartment Suite

The Magnolia, on the first floor of the house, has a beautiful bedroom with queen canapy bed, fireplace, and French door that provide a gorgeous view of the back yard. This inn is in a beautiful location and does not disappoint. Our anniversary stay was romantic as well as relaxing. Our breakfast was outstanding and one of the best we have had at a B&B. The staff was very attentive quickly responding to our every need. If you are looking for a restful, peaceful and lovely weekend look no further you have found it at Pineapple Hill.

Terrible and unfriendly staff!

We wanted a romantic getaway with this place. But unfortunately I had a bad fall and am stuck in bed. We called and asked if we could reschedule our stay, they said no. According to their 10 day policy. They weakly offered that they could give us a mid week overnight stay, my wife works a M-F job. We're still being charged for a one night stay in an unused room. I asked if a Dr's note would help or even a call from the Dr to explain my condition. No, not even that! So if I were you, I would look for another place to stay. Not worth it with this kind of unfriendly treatment.

It was a delightful stay in every way. The clicking door latches and the smells of breakfast cooking wafting up to the bedroom were reminiscent of my childhood stays at my grandparents' farmhouse.
