Brewster Inn of Dexter, Maine Reviews

While searching the internet in March 2009, our daughter found the Brewster Inn in Dexter, Maine and began touring the website. She had opted for a GARDEN THEME in the summer months with a cello and violinist playing the music among the flowers and gardens. She didn't want the guests to have to drive to another reception location but wanted a place where they could go from their seats into the reception under a large tent with tables decorated in linens and fresh roses. We found this setting with the Brewster Inn in Dexter. To make the wedding picture perfect, the innkeeper, Mark, asked us if she would like to be brought to the inn by Horse and carriage. That was the other piece that gave us the perfect "Storybook" wedding for our daughter. Mark and Judith gave us several names of local talent and businesses that gave us exceptional service and prices for the wedding. The rooms were clean and quaint with that historical decor to them. The beds were comfortable. The food was delicious. All of the out of town guests were able to stay at the inn for very reasonable prices and the innkeepers were always there with a helping hand and a friendly smile. They opened up their parlor and their dining room for the rehearsal dinner and party the night before the wedding and everyone had a wonderful stay. If you desire a picturesque inn, in the heart of Maine, with wonderful hosts and reasonable costs, I would highly recommend this inn.
