Circa 1899. Adorning a corner acre with a huge arbor and swing, this Georgian Revival was built with locally made yellow brick and features Victorian details and décor. Fully restored, it boasts original fretwork, leaded glass and an oak, maple, cherry and walnut parquet floor. Relax on wicker rockers on the wide front porch. Sit by the oak fireplace in the large oval living room with window seats in the alcoves. Stay in the Ruby Suite spanning the full length of the main house, or the first-floor Turner Suite. A columned breezeway leads to the two-story carriage house. Take the hayloft steps or iron spiral staircase to the West Suite or the East Suite which has a fully equipped kitchen and opens to a balcony. A bountiful breakfast is served in the formal octagonal dining room, garden room or outside courtyard. Savor Scott's homemade biscuits and gravy and Gooey Overnight Almond French Toast. The spa includes a lap pool, sauna, hot tub, exercise equipment and massage therapy.
