Shaded by majestic elms on a seaside bluff, this 1894 Queen Anne Victorian with its three-story turret, gables and adjoining cottage overlooks the harbor and village. Window boxes and wicker rockers line the wraparound porch. Comfortably mixing whimsy with antiques and collectibles, guest bedrooms exude an old-fashioned beauty with vintage photographs and floral fabrics. Some feature clawfoot tubs, fireplaces and one boasts a balcony. Hospitality is generous with a hearty country breakfast in the dining room or on the deck. Refreshments are served in the afternoon. The Passports Pub is an eclectic gathering place. Bikes are available for exploring the scenic area. Have a picnic at the lighthouse or discover coastal coves. Visit Penobscot Bay, Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor or Camden, each just an hour away.
