Designated as a city landmark and listed in the National Register, this Carpenter Gothic/Queen Anne Victorian home has been meticulously restored. Sitting in a grove of native pecan trees, the inn features elaborate millwork, pocket doors, and long leaf heart of pine floors and American antiques. Games, toys, books and TV/VCR are found in the front and back parlors. Romantic fireplaces are featured in two of the guest bedrooms.Featherbeds and sherry are a couple more treats to experience. Signature dishes like Pecan Waffles with Strawberries Grand Marnier are served with other delicious fare on settings of china, crystal and silver in one of the two dining rooms. The massive wraparound porch is pure relaxation with sofas, rockers and swings.
