Our stay at Parkside East was absolutely the best part of our trip to New England. Attention to every detail of our comfort and given and we were truly made to feel right at home.

“Completely exceeded expectations”
Heather PNeedham, MA

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. When we first arrived Jack told us "when you're here, you're family." In town for our wedding, Jack and Carole put us right at ease. We never stayed at a B&B that felt like home away from home. While getting ready, Jack helped by even steaming my gown!! He took same great pictures of my father and I as we left for the church. The hospitality is top notch and so fitting this amazing town.
We could not have asked for more for our special stay. We will return many times in the future to Parkside East. Thank you so much. Heather & Taylor

“Exceeded All Expectations”

The inn is exquisitely decorated and meticulously maintained, the hosts are most gracious, the room was inviting and spacious, the food was delicious and made to order. I am a Ritz Carlton devotee: I enjoy excellent service and beautiful surroundings, for the same reasons the Parkside East is now my bed and breakfast of choice.

Jack and Carol were exceptional host making our stay very pleasant. they will go the extra step to make sure your stay is relaxing, and comfortable. Jack's omellettes are fantastic, and Carol's homemade muffins are to die for. breakfast was a picture to be taken. Our room was warm, clean ,comfortable and I can't say enough about the hospitality. Everything is in walking distance and the park is across the street. Beach is very close so easy access. Lovely weekend and definately will go back. cheryl and Linda

“Great gift!”
E H8/17/2009
After reading the rave reviews for this wonderfun inn, I booked a stay as a wedding gift for friends. I found all the excellent reviews to be very accurate. In addtion, Jack and Carole were most accomodating to both me and the newly wed couple. I was able to set up the room with special touches prior to the couple's arrival. Although the couple arrived late, Jack took time to welcome them and to make they stay special. I would book this room as a gift again in a heartbeat!

“Romantic spot near the ocean”
Riva BBrooklyn , NY

We've never slept so well anyway! The hosts, the Marshalls are quite friendly and have taken great pains to design a wonderful relaxing place. They have recently redecorated the entire house and have thought about every possible detail. The place is charming, but most memorable for the beds which have the most comfortable mattresses, pillows and quilts I've ever experienced. We felt like we were sleeping in a cloud. The B&B is facing a lovely park which we enjoyed strolling in after a gourmet meal on the opposite side.

“Truly Wonderful!”
Stephanie HobartRockport, MA

I visit Westerly regularly to visit my mother who is in assisted living at The Elms. I was looking for a place nearby to her and one that was reasonable. Parkside East is just a wonderful find! Jack and Carole welcomed me like family and the Inn is a beautiful and relaxing sanctuary. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and all the amenities are perfect. Carole is a published decorator, and so each room is restful and inspiring. They work as a perfect team to be sure everything you need is covered. My room had an enormous shower and a small porch for early coffee. Breakfast is so delicous and they even invited my family members nearby to join me for a complimentary breakfast. This is an unusually wonderful Inn. You wont want to leave. It is not only the best in Westerly, but it equals and exceeds higly-rated inns all over New England.

“THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!”
Stacy Riccio (2 reviews)

My husband and I stayed for our anniversary and wish we didn't have to leave!
What a fabulous, relaxing, gorgeous Bed and Breakfast! First of all you walk into a beautifully decorated home all done by the owner Carole. There are two guest rooms decorated perfectly. The beds are out of this world, unbelievably comfortable, did not want to come home to my own bed ;)
One guest room has a patio with a hot tub, this is located on the first floor. The second guest room on the third floor is large with a spa type shower. Both rooms are fabulous!
This is not a typical breakfast that I have had at other B&B's, usually you get a small continental breakfast. We received 5 star Breakfast both mornings we were there. Fresh fruit, muffins, "Jacks soon to be world famous" omellette! Poached egg on english muffin, spinach quiche! Served in courses by the innkeepers.
It is located across the street from Wilcox park. Minutes from restaurants and shopping. 40-50 minutes to the Block Island ferry and Newport. 5 Miles to Misquamicut Beaches! Just a great location to enjoy all of Rhode Island.
Jack and Carole are wonderful people and they and their home made our Anniversary getaway fantastic.
As soon as we get another weekend away without the kids ;) We will be heading right back to Parkside East B&B

“Wonderful!!!”
Linda Greene8/25/2008
You have to be special kind of people to run a B&B, and Jack and his lovely wife, are just that. I bought one night for a special treat for an Aunt from N.C. and she stayed two!! You have to see it in person, because the pictures don't do it justise. It has class, warmth, and the decorating is a delight for the eyes. It is truly a special place for special people! Thank you Jack for making my Aunts stay truly remarkable in luuxury and relaxation!! Thank you also for being gracious enough to give my husband and myself a tour of your beauitiful home!!

“Must visit this B&B”
Steven & Chelsea8/15/2008
This was our first stay at a B&B - Jack and Carole exceeded
all of our expectations. They are wonderful hosts with a
beautiful home. Their beds are amazingly comfortable and
Jack's breakfast is to die for. This B&B is perfectly
located near by the beach and many different restaurants.
Jack and Carole made us feel very comfortable in their home
and provided us with the perfect gettaway. We recommend this
beatiful B&B to anyone looking for some quality time and
relaxation. We will absolutely go back in the future!

“Luxurious Comfort & Hospitality”
Maggi8/15/2008
Being spoiled while away is as good as it gets.
You can't go wrong at Parkside East in Westerly Rhode Island.
Both as a business traveler and a vacation traveler I have a lot of
experience. Jack and Carole Marshall, Innkeepers; welcome you in a way
which invites you to feel as comfortable as at home,
yet you enjoy their beautifully decorated and appointed home as a true respite.
The rooms are spacious, the baths exquisite, the location on the park
convenient to historic downtown, with the beaches just minutes away.
Spoil yourself as I have done 5 times and counting.
I always look forward to finding time to return.
Enjoy Jacks fabulous breakfast with Magnificent Marshall Muffins
a secret family recipe. I highly recommend this Inn.
Give yourself a well deserved break!!

“A "Must See"”
Christina & Ken5/27/2008
We stayed at this lovely B&B and were treated like loyalty. The accommodations were quite lovely and very spacious, the breakfast was delicious and presented beautifully. The owner's were very friendly and accommodating. Convenient parking also. The B&B is right across from a beautiful park too. We stayed at the room located on the first floor but looked at both available rooms. They were both great. We will definitely go back.
