bad experience!

to many cats, place was full of cat hair, even on table where breakfast was served!!Also in rooms, and all furniture covered in cat hair! And the cleanliness was horrible!! Unsure when last cleaned ,but bathroom floor pretty bad..cat hair flew when took towels off rack and when turning bed down too!Fans were thick with dust1 One of us was allergic to cats and didn't know there were cats there..but innkeeper could have cared less, and let them roam everywhere by this person ! Especially where we ate our breakfasts!!

Management Response
When they arrived at my front door I was informed that she hated cats. Not allergic or afraid just hated them. They stayed for 2 days and never mentioned cat hair every where. They ate the breakfast, and seemed to enjoy. I have been in business for 21 years and this is my first complaint.I have thousands of unsolicited compliments and hundreds of repeat guests. Her email to me stated "Your counters, table, mats,napkins,chairs...all covered with thick cat hair" Why do you think we covered your dinning room table with our own table cloth to play dominos. "Even though you say there is a cat at your place, there is an underlying problem..there are 3!!!" When they arrived and saw the cats they never said they wanted to leave. They never asked to leave, never asked for a refund. The allergic person just said that she hated cat hair. No other reason, certainly not that she was allergic. Who carries there own table cloth to a B&B? They also brought a grill and cooked in my driveway. Then they stated they had to stay outside in the heat. The cats have no opposable thumbs and therefore can not open a door. Why would they enter the bathroom and get cat hair on the clean towels. They did say in their email to me that they thought they should be entitled to a discount. Hmmmmm The only thing I can offer in a way of rebuttal is 21 years as an innkeeper. Thousands of guests and hundred of repeat guests. I guess one complaint isn't bad.
