Nicely Appointed

At the Olde Square Inn we were treated to a very comfortable stay. Our room was beautifully decorated, bright, and clean. The bed was oh so comfy with a firm and supported mattress... wonderful. Georgie made a delicious breakfast for everyone in the morning with very fresh local ingredients. The gardens were also nicely kept and well-planned. When staying here, be sure to check with Georgie for local restaurants - she will steer you right!

Loved the B&B and Location!

From the moment we made direct contact with Georgie we couldnt have been more pleased. Organising this leg of the trip from afar back in the UK was made easier with the service we got. Bedrooms are all lovely with super comfy beds and the breakfasts gorgeous. Go to Gettysburg. The Museum is brilliant and only about 50 mins away. Highly recommended. Thanks Georgie

Fabulous, Beautiful Decor and Hosts

Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. The carriage house was fabulous, beautiful decor, very comfy. We enjoyed the privacy, but also enjoyed the hospitality of our innkeepers, from Georgie's suggestions on where we should go and things we should do, to her willingness to making sure our restaurant destination was open. First time at a B&B-it will have to top this stay anywhere!

Wonderful Experience

What a wonderful experience we had at the Olde Square Inn. The carriage house; a charming home, delicious breakfast and wonderful hosts! We had a blast at Karaoke night at Bube's Brewery and dinner in the biergarten. Our trip was complete with a day spent int he darling town of Lititz, shopping at antique shops and of course Wilbur's Chocolates! All in all, a wonderful way to spend and celebrate our first anniversary! Thank!

Great weekend retreat!

Georgie, The Provost’s Cabinet loved the Inn. They thought that everything went well and most of them agreed that getting away was very good for them. One of the Deans says he’s lived in the area for 14 years and had never been to Mount Joy. Thank you so much for being a great hostess. Joan

Location,Great Stay & Innkeeper

First rate experience. The Inn's Carriage House is a beautiful, spacious, private cottage with a wonderful whirlpool and gas fireplace. The innkeeper Georgie is friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and the breakfast was creative and delicious. Obvious commitment to running a top-tier Inn.

Great Location, Innkeeper & Inn

My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Inn. We enjoyed our stay very much. The Inn is beautiful and the Innkeeper made us real right at home. She was very helpful with suggestions as to where to eat and places to see. We will definitely return and highly recommend the Inn.

Outstanding inn and innkeeper!

My husband & I had a wonderful Valentine's Weekend at The Olde Square Inn. Innkeeper, Georgie, is fabulous. She made us feel like welcomed guests immediately, offering fresh baked cookies which she brought to our room (The Antebellum guest room) while we settled in. She provided a wealth of knowledge of the area. All the recommendations she made were excellent. I have a wheat/gluten intolerance and she accommodated my needs at breakfast quite nicely. Georgie made extraordinary breakfasts. The flavor and appearance of all the food was great. We would, with out a doubt, stay with Georgie at The Olde Square Inn again!

The olde square inn a true classic

This B&B in Mount Joy, PA will always remain a classic in my mind and heart. For it was once a place where one could get a nice room and a fabulous home made breakfast which sometimes included various egg casseroles, baked oatmeal, caramelized French toast, pancakes, fruit, granola, sticky buns, juice, coffee and many other delicious items for a reasonable rate. The credit for this B&B goes to Fran and Dave Hand the innkeepers/owners. Delightful and down to earth people who truly knew what the words hospitality and kindness meant. I hope they both are enjoying retirement. As for the new innkeeper I wish her the best…but she has big shoes to fill. And has made many changes to the place and some in my eyes for the worse. You only get basic cable Tv which means only about 5 stations. Not that one goes there to watch Tv but at night I like to watch some before going to sleep. And the breakfast is no longer hearty. One day she served egg cheese and bacon on a English muffin. Which in my book takes no effort and one could go to mcdonalds for. However she is a nice person and is still very new at running the place so perhaps she will get better with time and the place will improve. Anyway here’s to Fran and Dave Hand on a great run of things and all the best to them.
