Planned to visit this upscale hotel with friends in October 2011. When I called to request information about handicap rooms, I was told NO elevators, NO rooms with walk in capability. Four floors....all steps. Amazes me in this day and age!

Circa 1892. Nearly 200 years ago the stone foundation was laid for this bluffside building that has been entirely renovated to provide elegant suites with balconies that overlook the water. Crepe myrtles, azaleas, moss-covered oaks and palm trees encircle the inn which is conveniently located in the historic riverfront area. Spacious suites boast a stylish decor with fully equipped kitchens and thoughtful amenities. The inn’s famous hot biscuits are enjoyed with traditional breakfast fare in the Marine Room.
