Innkeeper Note
As one of the oldest operating inns in the country, we are truly steeped in history. Take a gander over our front desk to see our list of distinguished guests. Our dining room has risen to new levels with Chef David Smith at the helm. Local, fresh ingredients, a wide variety of selections for all palates - it's fantastic. If you want to just kick back and relax with a unique bottle of wine, we're your inn. If you want to go on a skiing trek or bike across Vermont, we're also your inn. There's so much to do or so little to do. But the option is yours. Our innkeeper Kevin is an avid road biker, so feel free to ask away about great places to ride in the area...he loves to join guests as a guide if he has the time. Or check in with Bill, who runs Grafton Ponds Outdoor Center for Nordic ski or running tips. Our staff is seasoned, professional and top notch. Our job is to make your stay memorable, pampered and incredibly enjoyable. We hope you visit us in beautiful Grafton, Vermont. We were just designated a Vermont Green Hotel. Let us know if you have any questions. We hope to see you in Grafton soon.
