Circa 1929. Built in the Tudor style with half-timbers, the ivy-covered Old Monterey Inn looks and feels like an English country house. Brick pathways and a comfortable hammock beckon guests outside to the garden. Redwood, pine and old oak trees shelter an acre of pansies, roses, peonies and rhododendrons.
