It's been awhile since my husband and I stayed here while touring the Hill Country, but I'll never forget our night at the Old Hunter Road Stagecoach Stop. We stayed in a the Antique Rose Cabin and it was like going back in time. You could pretend like you were pioneers or early settlers except there were no chores to do! The little cabin was lovely and inviting and if I recall correctly it may have been the home of some of LBJ's ancestors. What I remember most were the beautiful grounds, the heady scent of herbs and roses, and the very tasty breakfast the next morning.
