Lovely surroundings and delicious food!

We had heard good things about this B&B, but our stay was even better than expected. The Inn is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The suite with a lovely master bedroom and a beautiful sitting room is extremely comfortable. The bathroom's over-sized single whirlpool and heater fan were very relaxing. The attention to detail was second to none in terms of needs for our stay, and the full breakfast was absolutely delicious! Fabulous service, beautiful accommodations!

Old Church House Inn is perfect!

I cannot wait to tell my friends about this delightful B&B! I was happy it was a one suite B&B. It had more comfort and beauty than I could have ever hoped for! Holly and Dean were wonderful hosts who truly need made me feel welcome. Their love for what they do was so apparent in their great attention to detail. (I loved the gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and the fresh Paper White flowers in the rooms.)

Victorian charm with modern conveni

Such a relaxing and lovely environment with very personable hosts and a tasty breakfast. The renovated church has so much space, Victorian charm with modern conveniences. Hiking in nearby Robinson Park was a real plus.

Perfect

Married couple stayed a day to celebrate 31st anniversary. The stay was perfect. A "hidden in plain sight" treasure in Central Illinois. Close to Peoria; closer to the river. Exceedingly clean, friendly, helpful. One client per stay, so you have the run of a VERY lovely and well-appointed place all to yourself.

Anniversary made special at the Old

My husband and I have stayed a several B&B's and can say the Old church House Inn is the best, most unique and pleasant stay we have ever enjoyed! Imagine, having half a church turned B&B all to yourselves. The building is so interesting by itself but add the hospitality of Ramseyers and the stay becomes memorable. come ready to leave your worries behind and you sink into the lovely surroundings. A church! Who knew!!!

Rich & Romantic Experience!

The quality and dignity of the décor, and the thoughtfulness of the services, provide guests with a realm of extraordinary beauty AND loving creature comforts. In the scrapbook collection of the history of the Inn, the first memento from the old church in days gone by is a pastor’s Welcome/Greeting for all who enter. In part, he dedicates his establishment to “all who would help lighten heavy burdens and all who would help make this a better world.” And so – Innkeepers Dean & Holly Ramseyer came along and are doing just that! My husband and I spent two nights there, and we deeply enjoyed every rich and delicious moment at the Old Church House Inn!

InnSide Tip - Unique Privacy
The Inn offers just one suite, comprised of immaculate and charming bedroom, bath w/whirlpool, and sitting room with all modern amenities. Half the old sanctuary downstairs is a luxuriously appointed living room/dining room w/fireplace, and it also is reserved just for the guest(s. Point being, there is extraordinary privacy and lots of lovely space!
