will definitely be back

Maggie, We so enjoyed our stay in your beautiful B&B. The pictures on your website do not do your place justice it is more beautiful in person. We enjoyed swinging on the swing by the beautiful Oak Tree and the room was absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality, breakfast was wonderful and thank you for playing music for us on your lovely Victrola. We so loved all your interior decor. We will recommend your B&B to all our friends and loved ones... See you soon we will definitely be back....

Romantic Wedding

We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Oak Tree Manor. Haydee and her coworkers made our day so magical and special. We could not have asked for a more romantic location for our wedding. The whole event was planned without stress and everyone was very professional. The food, decor and staff made all our guest feel comfortable and welcomed. I received several compliments from several guests on what a magnificent place Oak Tree Manor was for our wedding. Oak Tree Manor made our special day without a doubt more wonderful than we could have even imagined. It was a night that will live in our memory forever

Simply Awesome

This place was magnificent. I didn't expect much being this close to the city, but you would never know where you are by the beauty and serenity of this property. Maggie the owner is the best. She took care of our every need. She even had a bottle of champaigne waiting for us in our room when we got there. Some of the trees on this property are registered and are over 200 years old. Maggie is an unbeleivable inn keeper and a great cook. The breakfast she made us had all the trimmings including homemade hot sauce and tortillas. We would highly recommend staying here. This is one of the most goergeous B&B we have ever stayed at.

Romantic Outdoor Wedding

My brother just got married here last Saturday and it was beautiful. The dance floor was beneath the big oak tree and the groomsmen got to change in the house. It was a truly inspiring experience. It made me want to get married there myself. It had been raining all day, but the staff and vendors worked hard to get everything set up, and the wedding ran smoothly after that.

Bad Business Practice

After having a deposit for several months, this place decided they could make more money by having another couple's wedding there so cancelled the reservation and left the first couple high and dry with no place after they wouldn't agree to pay more than the second couple to get back their date! Don't exactly consider that to be of good business practice. Beware.

Brides Beware

Our daughter had this place secured with a deposit. After three months of holding the deposit, they gave her date away to another couple who would pay more. Sent an email that they would return the deposit.

Responce to negative comments

My name is Haydee Lara and I'm the Facility Coordinator for Oak Tree Manor. I wanted to take the opportunity to clarify the two negative reviews that were left below. The couple that had left a deposit for a date never signed a contract with us. They kept asking for discounts and wanted to negotiate amenities and each time they were approached about signing the contract they would ask for more time to think about it. When I put together a final contract with them and emailed it over to them they balked at the price of the event. I gave them a deadline to sign the contract or else we would refund their deposit because we had held it for three months with no contract signed. After calling them repeatedly, texting them and emailing them I finally made the decision to refund them their deposit. I have all documentation to back up my comments and would gladly share them if asked. By law there is no way that we can give away your booked date if you have a contract with us. The issue here was that there was NEVER A CONTRACT SIGNED. We are a family owned business and we take great pride in personalized service.

Romantic charming relaxing bead and

This was our second stay here and again we thoroughly enjoyed our time. I recommend a visit after plants have blossomed as the grounds are absolutely fantastic. We enjoyed a very quiet a relaxing evening. The house is enchanting and filled with (antique) nick-nacks that I might have found around my grandparent's. And in the morning breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Maggie is top rate!!! A very filling and satisfying Mexican meal - one where you're not likely going to need lunch afterwards. Our only difficulty was in securing the reservation. Phone calls were not returned so I would suggest using email as we had a much better response with that venue. Definitely a place to try if you want a relaxing break. I hear weddings are good here too, but being married 22 years now I can't confirm that, although they do seem to have the supporting facilities for it.

Great place for a romantic getaway

Oak Tree Manor was lovely for a romantic getaway. The house was far enough away from the road that it was always very quiet. We got some of the best sleep we ever have on one of the comfiest beds I've ever had the pleasure of sleeping on. The pool was like a secluded lagoon and breakfast was excellent!!!

Wonderful Spring TX B&B!

Maggie, the innkeeper of Oak Tree Manor, is a wonderful welcoming hostess. She has created a beautiful B&B... comfortable suites, beautiful grounds, and delicious Mexican breakfasts(yummy). We enjoyed a whole week at Oak Tree Manor and would return in a minute, if we could. Thank you Maggie for your hospitality! Ohio visitors 2011

Bad management

We chose Oak Tree for our wedding because the grounds are beautiful and the facility was gorgeous. They were very eager to please while we were deciding on venues but as soon as they received our money we never heard from them again. We sent countless emails and phone calls only to receive a call 8 days before the wedding. They never corresponded with us and we were unable to coordinate for our rehearsal until the day of. The management was rude and argued with our wedding coordinator. Our son was covered in mosquito bites and the brides feet were bitten all over by ant bites because they did not treat the grounds prior to rehearsal and wedding. Our coordinator had to spray the area so our guest would not be eaten alive by mosquitoes the day of the wedding. Overall all we would not recommend Oak Tree Manor to anyone ever.

An Absolute Dream Come True

I could not have asked for a more perfect location for my wedding reception. Everyone there was so accommodating. Every time we had a question, they had an answer. They were truly committed to making sure m event was everything I hoped it would be. You can really tell its a family business. The location was gorgeous. If you can, I highly recommend staying at the bed and breakfast the night before. I can't describe how perfect a moment it was to wake up in that gorgeous house, knowing that later that day everyone who meant the most to me in the world would be gathered there to celebrate with me. Everything was so personal; it felt like inviting everyone to my own home, rather than a wedding venue. There was plenty of space, but everything felt so intimate. I cannot imagine a more perfect place. It was everything i could have hoped for

Mrs. Allen

Maggie and her employees were absolutely wonderful. My husband and I had a wedding and stayed the night. The wedding went perfectly and the ceremony outside was beautiful. The reception area was very open with lots of room to dance. We stayed in the house and had a nice, quiet night together. Anyone would be lucky to stay here. Thank you so much Maggie.

Our first B&B experience!

We Love this place! We stayed this past weekend when we couldn't find a hotel room in the area. This was our first experience at a B&B. We will never stay at a hotel again! The house is so charming and beautiful! The grounds are so beautifully landscaped with lots of great sitting areas for relaxing. Very close to The Woodlands! Maggie is such a sweet person and a great cook! She made us feel very special.

Gorgeous Wedding

My daughter recently was married at Oak Tree Manor on July 7, 2012. It was completely beautiful. Unfortunately it poured rain an hour before the wedding was supposed to start and continued for hours. We were heartbroken that it could not be held outside under the beautiful trees. But Haydee, the Coordinator came up with a solution quickly. We had the wedding inside the large reception hall and it was gorgeous. This place is sooo amazing. Everyone there from the owner Maggie to the guys that cleaned up to the valet parking, all were so very nice and just wanted to help make this wedding a wonderful occasion for us and they did just that. It is a family operation and it shows. They are so nice and flexible. Haydee must have answered 200 questions and was always very prompt with an answer. I read a bad review a few minutes ago and I don't believe it. The entire family was wonderful and did everything to help. The food that was served by their caterer was really delicious...I mean delicious!!! Everyone that attended said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. If you want an unusual place to get married that is gorgeous, look at Oak Tree Manor. It is spectacular. My daughter and the wedding party stayed in the house...bed and breakfast the night before the wedding, they loved it. The house is 100 years old and the family worked to bring this house back and OMG it is so beautiful. This is a great wedding venue. Thanks to all of the Oak Tree Manor people for making a dream come true.

Love Jose and all the staff at Oak Tree. They made our day super special for us, our families and our guests! The overnight stay at the B&B was amazing and the special breakfast provided by Maggie was perfect! The venue is so quaint and wonderful. I'm so glad I stumbled across it.

Magical

We were engaged on September 1st and booked Oak Tree by the end of the month. The tree and grounds, particularly when lit up at night, are magical. We had a small wedding, 60 people, but the facility can easily accommodate 200+. We had both the ceremony and reception onsite. I will admit that I balked at the price, however, the service and care were first class. Jose and his team are caring, patient and willing to do whatever they can to make your wedding dreams come true. Jose is relaxed and easy to deal with even when you're not. The whole staff is friendly, welcoming and hard-working. With so many things to worry about, it was so comforting to not have to worry about our venue at all.

Wedding of Our Dreams

We were married on the majestic and magical grounds of Oak Tree Manor March 1st, 2013. Impeccable service with astute attention to detail, immaculate grounds, owners and staff that make you feel like family, and affordability close to home. The trees are beyond imagination and the atmosphere at night is transcendent. The Lara family put their hearts into this place and it shows. You must see it in person to appreciate the absolutely breathtaking beauty. This was my dream come true on a day we'll never forget. Don't hesitate to have your event here...you'll be so glad you did as no other venue even comes close in comparison. We LOVE Oak Tree Manor and the Lara Family. -Brent & Amy Bierd in Spring, TX

A little piece of Heavan

This was about the best Bed and Breakfast my wife and I have stayed at. The grounds were delightful, the manor was beautiful, The room was wonderful. The pool was refreshing. The breakfast was superb. The only downside was the road construction occurring just outside of the manor. That is hardly the fault of the manor. We highly recommend this place.

The prefect venue!

This was the perfect place to have my wedding. The oak tree was beautiful for pictures and for the backdrop, the house was perfect to get ready in and wonderful for photos, and the reception hall was spacious and just as elegant and beautiful as the outside. Jose was wonderful to work with, they made everything easy and wanted the day to be as perfect for me as I did! The food was great and everyone really enjoyed the wedding and had a wonderful time. I am so so so thankful I had my wedding here, it was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend the Oak Tree Manor.
