Circa 1904. Built by an old Asheville family who were descendants of the owners of Smith Plantation, this 1904 three-story stone lodge is only one mile from the Biltmore Estate. Indulge in the pleasures of a cookie bar on the weekends. Comfortable guest bedrooms offer a variety of amenities that include fireplaces, plush terry robes, chocolates and in-room massage. “Felt Right At Home”

We had the most wonderful weekend at the beautiful inn. We felt completely at home. This was our first time to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate. The Mahogany room was charming and very comfortable. We will definitely be back to do this again, maybe during one of the upcoming Christmas season's (or Autumn)...

BOTTOM LINE: I would stay here again.

Thank you for a delightful visit to your home last weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were lovely, comfortable, and tasteful. The atmosphere was friendly and helpful. The food: delicious, well-prepared, beautifully presented and served. Our hosts made us feel well cared for and loved. We appreciated your helpfulness and concern. The "Mahogany Room" was wonderful.
