Description

Circa 1790. Walk in the steps of history at an inn that has been welcoming guests for 200 years. Today, historic elements are seamlessly juxtaposed with modern amenities. Thirteen guest rooms, from spacious suites to intimate spaces, boast antique furnishings, sitting areas, and down comforters covering king, queen, or double twin beds. Guests can mingle in numerous common areas including the indoor heated pool, game room, keeping room, and great room. Floor to ceiling windows allow natural light to fill the dining room each morning for breakfast. Nothing is better after a day on the slopes than hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies by a toasty double-sided family room fireplace. The area boasts antique shops and restaurants fit for "foodies." The inn is available for intimate weddings in the rose garden, reunions by the pond, and corporate retreats with all the necessary technological requirements.

Historic Interest

The New Hampshire Mountain Inn veritably exudes historic authenticity, but it has also been selectively updated to provide some of the nicest of modern amenities. For example, stroll from the country charm of the farmhouse to the spectacular Tavern-style Family Room, built around an open double-sided fireplace with a hearth that is cantilevered over the pool area and see how easily the past and present blend. It is a seamless juxtaposition that makes for an ideal retreat - for a self-aware individual, for a romantic couple, for an adventurous family, or for leading executive groups.
