Circa 1950. Travelers to the Big Apple need not search high and low for that special bed & breakfast, this reservation service has more than 200 locations throughout the city. Accommodations range from guest rooms in luxury townhouses to idyllic lofts in Soho, the service also rents out furnished apartments by the night, week or month. The network divides the city into six different zones, from Zone A with ground zero, Wall Street and Battery Park to Zone F in the Upper East Side. Breakfasts are included in most cases, except when renting one of the service's unhosted apartments.
