As a frequent visitor to this area I remember walking past the abandoned run down Littlefield House. How wonderful that someone has restored it to its Victorian charm and then some. Every inch has been restored and redecorated right down to the porches and flowers. Though we only stayed one night en route to Bar Harbor, my companion who was celebrating his 60th birthday, remarked that he could easily see us staying here for a month. Breakfast was very good – quiche and homemade cinnamon buns. Location can’t be beat – park the car and walk to the ocean or shops.
