At nearly 40 feet long and 14 feet wide, the Napoleon spans the entire third floor of the main house. Windows on three sides of the room add to the open ambiance. You can see the Arch and downtown off in the distance. The room features a queen-sized bed and large sitting area with a wet bar. The private bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub/shower combination.
The Josephine is our newest suite and was completely remodeled in July 2012. It is a 400+ sq. ft. apartment with new furnishings and custom window treatments. The Josephine is reached via a private entrance off of the courtyard. It includes a second floor balcony overlooking the gardens. It features a living room, full kitchen, and bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The private bath has a single person Jacuzzi tub/shower. The living room is decorated in rich burgundy tones while the bedroom is in soothing shades of blue.
Pamper yourself in this gorgeous room, with its luxurious bathroom featuring an oversized whirlpool tub for two and separate shower. The room has a private entrance off the garden courtyard. Circa 1880. Feel welcomed by the sunny yellow façade of this three-story Victorian mansion. Napoleon's Retreat is an award-winning inn located in Lafayette Square, a National Historic District with the largest collection of French Second Empire "Painted Lady" homes in the country. Pocket doors, fifteen-foot ceilings, pine floors, artwork, collectibles and period antiques are features of the inn. Five well-appointed guest rooms each include a private bath, queen bed, refrigerator, premium cable television, and wi-fi. The honeymoon suite boasts a gas fireplace and two-person jetted tub. The largest suite is a 400 sq. ft. apartment with a full kitchen. Gourmet breakfasts begin with freshly ground coffee or premium tea selection, followed by fruit and baked treats. Daily entrées include items such as soufflés, crepes, or quiches. It is a mile and a half from the convention center and close to Soulard Market, Missouri Botanical Gardens, the zoo, St. Louis Cathedral and Fox Theater, with easy access to major highways.
