Description

Circa 1898. Let time stand still while staying at this historic 1898 Victorian home that was built entirely with pine and cedar. Its classic features include many bay windows, large rooms with high ceilings and original fireplaces with mantles. Sip lemonade on the spacious wraparound porch with wicker furniture and rockers. Relax in one of the two inviting parlors. Choose an upstairs guest bedroom in the main house or an adjacent ground-floor cottage room with a private entrance. The pleasing accommodations feature central heat and air conditioning and American and English antiques. Soak in a clawfoot tub with bath salts before sleeping in a vintage nightgown or nightshirt. A gourmet breakfast is served on china and silver in the formal dining room.

A Relaxing Retreat

he Munzesheimer Manor was our denstination...our purpose...relaxation. The cottage room we rented was perfect. Down to our very own rubber duckie for the tub. Bob and Sherry are such gracious hosts, we felt right at home. They sat with us over coffee and we had the best time just enjoying conversation with them. When we arrived, Sherry suggested Kitchen's Hardware for dinner and even made reservations for us. Breakfast included the most delicious German pancakes! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Relaxation? Mission accomplished!
