Innkeepers Chuck and Laurel Biegert truly have mastered the art of innkeeping. It doesn't hurt that the two "keep" a spectacular mountain cedar log lodge surrounded by a pine forest. During chilly months, a fire crackles in the front room's magnificent stone fireplace. Guests trample in after a day on the slopes ready to enjoy a soak in the outdoor spa and sauna under a night sky sparkling with stars. Guest rooms and suites are appointed with elegant, yet comfortable furnishings. Quilts, antiques, double whirlpool tubs and wonderful views are just some of the surprises guests will discover. The Biegerts go all out during the holiday season, and from November to New Year's, the inn participates in the town's Festival of Lights. But winter isn't the only season to visit the inn, the area offers hiking, fishing, shopping, galleries, museums and more. No matter what time of year, guests are treated to a divine breakfast. The cuisine at Mount Ashland has been featured in several cookbooks, including Bon Appetit.

What a perfect place to bring our magical 4-day trip along the coast and inland to Mt Shasta to a close. The most gracious hospitality one could imagine - spectacular room and views and a delectable breakfast. We will long remember our day here! The hike on the Pacific Crest Trail with Powder as our guide was superb. Thanks for everything. Cleveland, OH

I've wondered where my dreams go when I can't remember them. Now I know they come here, among the snow, trees, valley, dogs, wind, sun, and dance at night around the Lodge.
