A year-round secluded retreat, this cedar building with Mansard roof is located in the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. Cathedral ceilings and a Vermont Castings wood-burning stove is found in the Great Room. Enjoy complimentary sherry and homemade cookies. A game loft provides cards, puzzles and board games. A fully equipped guest kitchen is easily accessible. Most guest bedrooms in the main lodge and Hillside Lodge feature private decks. Some offer gas log fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. A full country breakfast served on Fiesta Ware may include a garden frittata, orange-glazed ham, broiled grapefruit, homemade biscuits and cheese muffins. Look onto gardens and dogwoods from a porch rocker or play a game of horseshoes.

This was a great weekend of rest for body and soul! The lodge is beautiful and we loved the peace and freedom of coming and going! Thank you for good food, good rest, and a special retreat.
