Circa 1921. This original Arts & Crafts-style home is set in the wooded mountains of historic Mt. Gretna, located conveniently close to a unique variety of attractions such as a lake, stream, cross-country skiing and miles of trails for mountain biking and hiking. Each of the inn's seven guest rooms features a sampling of antiques purchased by the innkeeper at local auctions. All rooms offer private baths, while some feature a private porch, gas fireplace or whirlpool and steam massage shower. Breakfast fare may include baked peaches, egg puff, sausage, homemade coffee cakes and muffins.

The Woodlands

The WoodlandsThis guest room is nestled on the third floor and features a nautical decor. The room features a queen size bed and gas fireplace and makes a great romantic hideaway. This room has a private bath with shower. $149 per night

 

The Chestnut Suite

The Chestnut SuiteEnvelope yourself in the Far East while enjoying the largest guest room of the mansion. Read a book in the rosewood carved armchairs or nap in the king size bed. A gas fireplace and full bath are also featured in this room. $169 per night

 

The Willows

The WillowsThis secluded and romantic third floor room is the perfect couples get-a- way. Soak in the two person whirlpool tub then relax in the queen size poster bed. This room also features an electric fireplace and private bath with shower. $189 per night

 

The Gables

The Gables is nestled on the third floor. The décor is soft greens, pinks and yellows and has a romantic feel. The queen size bed or a cozy chair by the fire are great places to curl up and read a book. This room has a private bath and shower. $149 per night

The Weeping Mines

The Weeping Pines offers a queen size bed, loveseat, leather writers’ chair and gas fireplace. This large second floor room boasts hints of the Serengeti with leather furniture and animal prints. On warm evenings you can enjoy the outdoors on your own private porch. This room has a private bath and shower. $169 per night

 

Innkeeper Note

Each room includes a gas fireplace, private bathroom, bathrobes, CD Player with clock radio, ceiling fans, and comfortable seating areas. Although the inn does not have cable, a television with DVD player is provided in each room and a movie library is available in our Hospitality Suite.
