Mosheim Mansion

Carol Hirschi worked her enchantment to make our holiday memorable. The food was scrumptious and the extra attentions bestowed blessed us richly.

My fiance and I had been searching without success for an intimate wedding venue and a place to spend our honeymoon. We weren't exactly sure what we were looking for but would know when we found it. As we pulled up to the Mosheim Mansion, I couldn't believe we were going to see the inside let alone stay there! Once inside, that was it. Our minds were made up. I've paid to tour historic homes not nearly this beautiful. And Carol, the owner, put us completely at ease. She was so creative and flexible. (My fiance had serious medical issues so we had special needs.) We simply had to get married here. It was a magnificent day, and our suite was the ultimate! Carol had put tea lights, chocolates, flowers and our favorite wine next to the huge whirlpool. The fireplace was blazing and gentle music was playing. Now we go back whenever we can. Carol was to cater a birthday party for my new husband and prepared his favorite Italian dishes. At the last minute, we got the call we had been waiting for. My husband was on the transplant list and a liver had become available. We had to leave immediately for the hospital. I called Carol and was a little concerned about a last minute cancellation. Carol just said forget about it, that a new liver trumped a spaghetti dinner any day! Now that my husband has recovered we can't wait to return to the Mosheim to celebrate our first anniversary.
