Description

Circa 1770. Previously situated off the coast of Maine and New Hampshire on the Isle of Shoals, this 1770 post and beam home was transported more than 200 years ago to the scenic edge of the woods in York. Morning Glory Inn was recently renovated to offer an informal style and service with generous modern amenities. Unwind amid the friendly, relaxed ambiance of this boutique bed and breakfast. Well-appointed guest bedrooms are restful retreats. Some of the suites feature separate sitting rooms and patios or decks overlooking the perennial gardens. Wake up and start each day with a buffet breakfast before spending the day at the beach or a local museum.

To find a little bit of paradise in an otherwise hectic and fast-paced world is priceless. The moment I walked through the paths of flowers & stepped inside your lovely B & B, I felt 10 pounds of worry drop away. The serenity, the beauty & the simplicity of Morning Glory Inn is something we won't forget. We will return. Thank you for your spot-on recommendations for dining and activities. The breakfasts were so delicious, thanks Margie, and Doug, you are a master gardener. Thank you both for being such gracious hosts.

The label of "bed and breakfast" does not do justice to the artistry of Morning Glory Inn. Rarely have our acommodations so wildly exceeded our hopes, as they did this weekend
