Although this inn was built just a few years ago, the exterior is reminiscent of a country farmhouse, with its covered front porch lined with rockers. The interior is a mix of styles, from the decidedly Southwestern Chickasaw Rancher room to the romantic Solitude room, which includes a king-size bed canopied in Battenburg lace. Each of the guest rooms has a fireplace. The gourmet breakfasts are arranged and presented artfully, featuring succulent egg dishes, freshly baked breads and fruit smoothies.

“A Short and Sweet Vacation”

My husband is getting ready to deploy, so this was the perfect stay to have time just for each other. Everyone at Montford was very kind and accommodating. Our Renaissance Room was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. My husband couldn't stop talking about the cherry crepes! The town is a wonderful place to walk around, and we even did some geocaching there. I would recommend seeing the Norman legend statues placed around town, and the Bison Witches' Bar & Deli was fun. You should also go by the Native Spice Market; there are some great people there doing great things.

BOTTOM LINE: I would stay here again.

“Relaxing two day stay.”

Our stay at The Montford Inn was very relaxing and just what we needed. The Inn is located close to Campus Corner and Main Street where there is shopping and restaurants. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The breakfasts were so good! Our room was cozy and comfortable and after our shopping spree we watched movies from their library.

BOTTOM LINE: I would stay here again.

“Personal service with casually chic atmosphere”

This close to campus small hotel has a shady English garden setting and the friendliest, most professional service imaginable. Owners have included all the extra touches to make this an exceptional place to stay. The homemade breakfasts include signature dishes, such as the Chickasaw Breakfast Casserole and the Montford Smoothie. The cottages are terrific.

BOTTOM LINE: I would stay here again.
