Circa 1893. Built with an unusual mix of architectural designs, the 1893 mansion was labeled Gothic Steamboat Revival and underwent an extensive restoration in 1997. Inside the inn a splendid Victorian atmosphere is enhanced by vintage woodwork, chandeliers and antique furnishings. The welcome begins with homemade cookies. In the early evening mingle at the hors d'oeuvres party. Enjoy parlor games or sing to the 1905 player grand piano. The guest kitchen provides complimentary beverages. Luxurious guest bedrooms and suites feature fresh flowers, chocolates, robes, heated towel bars and many include fireplaces and Jacuzzis. Arrange for an in-room therapeutic massage or reflexology. Stay in one of the Moon River Cabins on the banks of the Mississippi.

“Romantic Getaway!! WOW!”

What a wonderful and special getaway place in such a little town! We traveled with another couple and had a great time. Everything was as expected. Personal attention to details and comfort was appreciated. Rooms were were very cozy and comfortable, and the beds were great. The breakfasts were delicious! What a great cook. Owners were very inviting and friendly. There is a lot of history in this home. Thank You for a wonderful escape! :)

“Home in need of updating!”

Bellvue is a cute little town but only 2 or 3 places to eat in town including subway. MontRest is in need of some serious updating inside and out. The table cloth was stained and dirty and the glass topper on the table was chipped. The pastries were the best but the meals were ok at best. The murder mystery was a lot of fun. The bed was VERY uncomfortable.
