Circa 1898. Built in 1898 and recently renovated, McGinnis Cottage Bed and Breakfast is a tri-level Victorian home in the National Historic District of Leadville, Colorado. Gather for afternoon refreshments in the parlor amidst family collectibles and a large flat-screen TV. Each guest bedroom includes a refrigerator and coffee bar with complimentary beverages. The Queen's Loft, a luxury third-floor retreat, boasts a sitting area, fireplace and jetted tub. Located in the picturesque Rocky Mountain region, one room has a balcony with a view of the peak of Mt. Elbert. Linger over a high-country breakfast served family-style in the dining room. Special seasonal packages are often available. Copper Mountain, Vail, Breckenridge and Aspen are all easily accessible within one hour.

I haven't stayed at many B&Bs, but this once was very nice. My room was clean, and the location was exactly what I needed. Great breakfasts and excellent customer relations! I would stay here again.

We really loved this inn. It is a great Victorian building nestled in the Colorado Rockies. Our stay was really great and many things came together to make it that way. The Queens loft is a great room if you can get it and Donna is about as great of an innkeeper as you can hope for. She is a wealth of information and very personable and friendly.
