Gracing historic Magazine Street in the hip Lower Garden District of New Orleans, Louisiana, this completely restored three-story Greek Revival is a quiet retreat amid an area known for antique shopping, music venues, art galleries and fine dining. The popular French Quarter, Coliseum Square, Audubon Park and other attractions are within an easy walk. A car is only needed for trips outside the city. Double parlors boast works by local artists and galleries overlook the tropical plant-filled courtyard that also features a hot tub. Four types of spacious and elegant guest rooms include semi-suites, courtyard and second- and third-floor rooms. Each is named for the nine muses of Greek mythology. Most include clawfoot tubs, fresh flowers and other creature comforts and special touches. Savor an expanded continental breakfast.
