Description

Circa 1803. Take the ferry from Martha's Vineyard, Hyannis or Harwich to begin an island holiday on Nantucket at Martin House Inn in Massachusetts. Open year round, this Greek Revival mariner's mansion is a comfortable, refreshing blend of old-world flair and new-world luxury. Relax on the wicker-filled veranda or sit by the fire in the living room. Afternoon tea and treats are served daily. The inn is accented by a revolving collection of original paintings from local artists. Inviting guest rooms and a suite boast canopy and four-poster beds; some include fireplaces. Indulge in a bountiful continental breakfast that features homemade granola, cereals, fruit, scones and other creations made by the pastry chef. Walk to the beach or browse the galleries, museums and shops along the famous cobblestone Main Street.

Romantic Getaway

Celebrated our 33rd anniversary in grand style. Amost wished for cold weather to try the fireplace. Breakfast was to die for. Homemade goodies can be smelled as soon as you leave the room. Made several new friends over wine in the afternoon. We will definately be back!
