Marshlands Inn

Circa 1854. One of Canada's most popular country inns, this 1854 pre-confederation home is surrounded by eight acres of marshland, lawns and gardens. Open year-round, it is rich in history, and has hosted many social, political and royal dignitaries. The inn consists of the main house and the carriage house. Relax with refreshments on one of the two large verandas. In the evening gather for hot chocolate and ginger snaps by the fire in one of the parlors accented by original artwork and easy chairs. Inviting guest bedrooms and a suite are furnished with antiques and boast clawfoot tubs.
