Circa 1886. Reminiscent of the Victorian era, this home rests on the site of the nation's first cauliflower farm. The owners have restored the slate roof, elaborate exterior woodwork and decorative interior woodwork. A full breakfast is served in the formal dining room on English china, or guests can enjoy the morning meal on the veranda, which overlooks the Catskill Mountains. The surrounding area offers a variety of activities including antique shopping, ice skating, golf, tennis, swimming, boating, fishing and hiking. The innkeepers offer ski packages.
