Location: Country and Spacious country farm.
Romantic Interest
Some rooms have huge double whirlpool tubs, fireplaces, and private secluded decks. Located in a serene country setting with acres of rolling fields and woods. Ideal for strolling the grounds and trails on the property and adjoining wildlife management area, or enjoying the night stars. Planned for 2009 is an outdoor hot tub and sauna.
Historic Interest
Late Victorian house is on land that was cleared and settled in the late 1700s. Once the home of William Oliver Vaughan, a member of one of the founding families in Hallowell. The present house was built in 1906 and served as a halfway stop for watering horses for a stagecoach line that ran between Hallowell and Emery's Grove on Cobbosseecontee Lake.

“A relaxing retreat with great hospitality”
Chris9/13/2009
My wife and l have enjoyed the farm many times during the past few years while visiting our child at school in the area. You will enjoy a delicious breakfast each morning and proximity to great restaurants nearby for dinner. A post-dinner nightcap can be enjoyed in the farmhouse's living room before retiring for the evening. We simply don't look anywhere else when visiting. You will be happy with your stay.
