Description

Circa 1857. The facade of this Romanesque Revival sandstone mansion boasts magnificent arched windows, Swedish railings, verandas and a belvedere. There are marble floors, ornate moldings and a magnificent mahogany and walnut staircase that winds up four stories. Lovingly restored and lavishly decorated, the inn easily rivals rooms at the Ritz for opulence. A special occasion warrants requesting the suite with the secret passageway behind a swinging bookcase.

Very impressed

The staff here is amazing. Very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. The place is incredible and will definitely recommend for others. We really appreaciate the little details (cookies on the bed) and how much the staff made us feel like good friends. And you have an amazing atmosphere.

Graduation Weekend Celebration

Talk about a wonderful weekend! This was the PERFECT spot for hosting my family during graduation 2011. I'm in LOVE with just about everything this place offers. Wonderful/attentive staff, amenities lik you would not believe, and rooms that make you NOT want to go home. I'll never be the same again. I've spent 9 years living in Madison and am truly grateful that for years to come, Mansion Hill Inn will be a part of my favorite memories of my time in the midwest!
