Circa 1820. Recently restored, this Greek Revival B&B was built in the gracious era of 1820 and reflects a classic New England homestead. Original pumpkin pine floors and detailed woodwork are accented with antiques. Sit by the fire in the parlor of this peaceful haven. The sitting room has a TV, VCR and a guest closet refrigerator stocked with beverages and treats. Luxurious guest bedrooms are superbly appointed with fine linens and boast modern tiled bathrooms. A satisfying breakfast is served indoors or outside when weather permits, and may include juice, fruit, scones with homemade preserves, an omelette with fresh asparagus, shiitake mushrooms and cheese, Maine blueberry pancakes or French toast with strawberry compote. Enjoy spectacular views of Mt. Kearsage and the White Mountains while overlooking sixteen acres of flower beds and the intervale.

Mike B

Greeting me with a cold juice drink and a bowl of fresh cherries the innkeeper joined me on the back porch while we savored the warm summer afternoon air and the view of the mountains. I had a wonderfully cozy little room in the back part of the upstairs and slept far longer than I normally do when on the road. A delicious breakfast with great coffee, fruit and eggs, along with pleasant conversation got the morning going right.
