         <title>Woodrow House B&amp;B</title>
         <link>http://www.iloveinns.com/bed_and_breakfasts/texas/woodrowhouse.htm</link>
<description>Although constructed in the mid-1990s, Woodrow House has the appearance of an old Southern estate home. Towering columns grace the front entrance, lending an elegant ambiance to the home. Each of the eight guest rooms is decorated with a different theme. One pays homage to the 1950s and Americana. Granny’s Attic is a spacious room decorated with items that belonged to innkeeper David Fleming’s grandmother, as well as an antique clawfoot tub. Guests also have the option of staying in the Santa Fe Caboose, a restored caboose that includes a sitting area, private bath and kitchenette. The innkeepers serve a hearty country breakfast with items such as biscuits and gravy and homemade cinnamon rolls. The home rests across from Texas Tech University. Legendary rock and roll star Buddy Holly was a Lubbock native, and his home and the Buddy Holly Center are just two miles from Woodrow House.</description>
