Innkeeper Note
Lovelace Manor's Second Empire style domestic architecture has been maintained throughout the home, from its ornate porches with brackets and pendants to the 12-foot ceilings and etched-glass doors. Located in a quaint neighborhood, we are just minutes away from favorite historic sites, Amish farmlands, outlet shopping and abundant antiquing. Enjoy complimentary refreshments in the Victorian parlor, an entertaining tour and history of the home, and perhaps a relaxing game of billiards in the game room. All of our romantically decorated guest rooms have private baths, TV/VCRs, robes, hairdryers and other amenities. A full breakfast is served each morning.

“Carter Family”
Bill CarterWe have stayed with Lark and Michael a number of time and have never been disappointed! We took our 24 yo daughter on 14-15 May as a graduation gift and she didn't want to leave. If the glitz of the commercial Lancaster isn't your speed ask Lark to give you the map for the "locals" tour. We love visiting the area and staying at the Lovelace Manor!!

“Lancaster B&B”
Clyde WillardOne of the very best B&B Inns we have ever stayed with. I recommend it highly and would stay again in a second. The innkeepers are very helpful and great hosts. If you are in town and need a B&B, this is the place to stay.

“We loved our stay!!!”
Liz FischerWe really enjoyed our stay at the Lovelace manor. The innkeepers have perfected their art. They are most gracious, friendly, and accommodating.
The Inn is beautiful, and so are the rooms. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely plan on staying there again.

“Incredible B&B!”
Larry HillsWe took our first trip back east from Seattle and stayed two nights at Lovelace Manor B&B.
From the moment we drove up, we knew we had made a right choice! It is everything and more that they promise! Michael and Lark made us feel at home the moment we walked in. We were impressed with how beautiful their home is! Every room is a sanctuary and we just loved how it was decorated! Our rooms were amazing. So clean and the beds were SO comfortable! The port wine in our rooms were a special treat and we loved Michael's cookies! Lark's breakfast in the mornings were absolutely delicious, not to mention the lovely presentation of each dish she served. We loved sitting on the 'wrap around porch' each evening and to my surprise, the lawn lit up with firefly's at dusk and I was smiling ear to ear. It was here I saw my 1st Firefly! Being from Seattle, this was a Big deal for me. In fact it was on my bucket list. We loved the Amish tour they provided us with and wish we would have planned differently and stayed longer in Lancaster and less time in New York. Well...now we know! By the time we left, we felt like we had known Michael and Lark forever.
You will not be sorry if you book with them! We can't wait to return!

“Romantic Getaway”
Paul and Stephanie BamrickMonroe Township, NJ
Just arrived home after staying at the Lovelace Manor Bed and Breakfast for a few days. My husband and I needed a quick romantic getaway and we for sure found it here! This home is beautiful and the inn keepers, Michael and Lark obviously know exactly what they're doing. The attention to detail is impeccable. They gave us a printed driving tour that they themselves made and we had a wonderful day taking this tour. I had read on other blogs about the homemade cookies that Michael bakes everyday for the guests and sure enough, they were there. The breakfasts were not only delicious but of restaurant quality and plenty of it. My husband and I can not say enough about this bed and breakfast and Michael and Lark. We will be recommending this to everyone we know. Five minutes before we left, we booked our next stay for the end of October. I'm glad it's not too soon so we can enjoy the anticipation of another wonderful weekend!!!

“Amazing service!!”
David4/21/2010
We spent our wedding night at Lovelace! Very nice place!! Awesome food & service! We had car trouble a couple of minutes before we got to Lovelace. The owners son ended up fixing the car for the third of the cost!! Late Saturday night no shops were open to fix the car. Their son did us a huge favor!! I would totally go there again!!!
