What a CHARMING Place!

We had the most delightful three night stay at the Lodge at Grant's Trail B & B this past week! My husband and I couldn't believe the high-end antique-y themed decor, the scrumptious breakfasts, the attentive staff, the GORGEOUS and thoughtful touches throughout each room, the three story fireplace and wall of windows overlooking the woods, the game/reading room, or the romantic FIREPLACE (in every room) that we happily watched dancing each evening. What a delightful find for a short get-away, and just down the road from everything St. Louis -- the arch, brewery tours, Clydesdale horses, the art museum, the science center, Forest Park, great shopping…We'll definitely be back to the Lodge at Grant's Trail! Wedding/Reception June 2015

Grant's Trail Lodge hosted my daughter/son-in-law's wedding/reception. It was absolutely perfect! The wedding was performed outside in the patio/garden area and the reception was inside as well as outside. Everyone had a good time! Mary our event manager was absolutely the best. While we were all nervous about how everything would go Mary put us at ease right away. In addition to the great service Mary provided Denise our bartender was also fantastic and the food service manager and servers provided excellent service to our guests. They were all very courteous...we couldn't have asked for better service from them. So thank you Denise Stevenor from Orlando's, Melissa, Mary and Denise at the Lodge and the food service staff for everything!! And to top it off we booked all of the rooms at the lodge for the evening so we could just go to our rooms at the end of the evening and we enjoyed a very nice breakfast the next morning. While most weddings are memorable you have definitely made this wedding a beautiful memory for us.

Authentic Lodge in St. Louis

We hosted the Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at the Lodge for all our out of town family and guests - perfect experience; a showcase for St. Louis. Began our Yellowstone Honeymoon with our wedding night at the Lodge, no exageration....best accomodation and experience, minus the Tetons and Rockies :) If you want a classy yet comfortable setting in South St. Louis county, the Lodge is my first recommendation.

Amazing Stay-Above and Beyond my expectations

My husband took me to the Lodge at Grants Trail last night. We stayed in the Mary Lincoln presidential suite. It is a beautiful room with an amazing jacuzzi tub. We were treated like royalty by the GM Matthew W. He made our time extra enjoyable by recommending local restaurants and activities designed to our exact taste and interests. We were served the most mouth watering chocolate chip cookies in our room for a midnight snack. The decor of the Lodge makes you feel so warm and cozy. We will definitely be calling Matthew back to help us design a getaway for the entire family next time. Fun for all, close to everything St. Louis has to offer yet lots of nature and wildlife in its own backyard.

Honeymoon Room and Private Party

When my husband and I wanted to gift a honeymoon room to my step-daughter and her new husband, our first thought was Grant's Trail since my husband and I got married there 10 years ago and it was fantastic. When I had a conversation with Matthew the GM, he took it upon himself to make this an even more special occasion. He suggested moving them to the Mary Lincoln room since there is a conference room/bedroom (Abe Lincoln Room - has a Murphy bed that folds up into the wall) off of that room where we could have a small party after the private wedding ceremony. Even though on the day of the wedding there was another event in the lodge, you would have thought ours was the only one! Matthew took care of everything - even sneaking a basket up for the newlyweds while we were all enjoying pizza in the adjoining room. Matthew also took care of the setup (drinks, cups, etc) and cleanup of the room after the family left giving the newlyweds some privacy. The Lodge and the Rooms are exactly as pictured wonderful and warm. The kids loved it and it made planning this event worry free. In this day of minimal customer service it is nice to know that the old values exist and are on display daily.

Wedding Rehearsal, Wedding, and Reception

We had an excellent experience for our daughter's wedding. The lodge was perfectly charming. We rented the entire lodge for two days. Most of the wedding party stayed in the Guest Rooms and it worked out extremely well. Each room had a unique theme and the guest loved it. The staff was very helpful and the food was fantastic. The wedding planner was very accommodating . Mary, the event coordinator for the rehearsal, wedding, and reception was amazing. She graciously ran the event so it flowed like military precision. She anticipated our needs and made the entire process worry free.

Spectacular

We had my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary party at the Lodge. It was absolutely perfect! The venue, food, bar service, accommodations for our out-of-town guests, planning with Scott was effortless, and the stellar service Bill and his staff provided before, during, and after the event was top-notch. Everyone is still raving about the party! It could not have gone any better. Thank you so much for over-delivering for such an important and monumental celebration in our lives!
