Historic Interest

The house is a prominent example of Second Empire architectual style in the County. It is the best executed mid-nineteenth century revival style with concave slate roof, bracketed eaves, decorative porches and rare metal roof cresting. It is a rare architectual survivor when most of the town's antebellum buildings were lost in several destructive fires.

Very pretty and cozy atmosphere. It was so nice to feel safe over the night. The accommodations were as comfortable as being at home. Thanks for good conversation!
