Romantic Inn

We love coming to the Lilac Inn. The location is perfect...sitting on a wide street (Park Street) with easy walking access to the town. We just park our car at the Inn and enjoy the town of Brandon. The Inn itself is immaculate, and tastefully decorated. The owners couldn't be nicer, and the gourmet 3 course breakfasts are superb without being overwhelming.

Romantic and a delightful Inn

My husband and I have stayed at the Lilac Inn on various romantic occasions and enjoy our stay very much each time we visit. Doug and Shelley always make us feel welcomed to their beautiful "home" and their rooms (our favorite is room 1) are well appointed and welcoming. The grounds all around the Inn are exceptionally landscaped with gorgeous flower gardens and water features. The front porch is a perfect spot to relax with a drink (our favorite is wine) and just enjoy the beauty of Vermont around you. We always look forward to breakfast... yummy and they always have a nice variety to choose from.

Comfortable, romantic and relaxing

Enjoyed this historic inn that has kept the traditional feel of an old Inn with so many new items blended in. You won't go wrong in any of the rooms and several rooms open for reading and relaxing. Add the super great 3-course breakfast and the help and directions from the Innkeepers about the area. Very enjoyable 2-night stay.
